
Last July I attended the Magic the gathering Philippine Open 2009, at Glorietta 5 Atrium, in Makati. I signed up for the Alara block Constructed tournament (a side event to the MTG Philippine Nationals 2009). I used my one and only Infiltrator Deck (a Bant-based deck). I met up with most of Team Iloilo. They were cool, friendly too. I also met my 'Magic Master' Mark Ian, funny thin was were wearing matched outifts. Hahaha.
1st part of the touney,1st Round I was up against a Jund-Aggro deck. 1st game I won in 4 turns thanks to Noble Heirarch, Rafiq of the Many, and my favourite Jhessian Infiltrator. Dealing an unstoppable 10 damage on turn 3 and another 10 at turn 4.
2nd round Started with a good hand, then started to draw only lands, able ot lay only

2nd part of the tourney,round 1 was again matched up with another Jund Aggro-Deck. Went all out in this match-p, dropping a Heirarch at turn 1, Jhessian Iniltrator at turn 2. by turn 3 I dropped a valeron Outlander to stop the Sprouting Thrinax on the march. By turn 4 dropped a Finest Hour, allowing my Infiltrator o dish ou a total of 11 damage. by turn 5, dropped a Rafiq to finish the game without a scratch on me.
